Understand These 3 Viewpoints Of Life Before You Regret

At some point in life, we all had to go through some inevitable life experiences which we still wish shouldn’t have happened. You know how some shocking or upsetting incident suddenly occurs which turns your world completely upside down. Mostly this happens because – YES, I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS! Your crush getting married to someone else, falling sick right before an important event, losing your job, even losing your phone (that just gives me the creeps more than anything 😀 ). These are only few of the many bound to happen changes in life. You see it happening right in front of you, but there’s just nothing you can do about it. You can’t even cry about it – because you’ve this “strong public image”. For all parents reading this- remember the first time your child fell on the playground and it hurt him/her so bad. I’m very sure, more than your kid your heart must have cried inside. 😥

My point is, these kinds of changes are going to be happening in life. Yes, this is real life and real life kicks you hard. What are you going to do about it? You’re going to follow my advice (1st viewpoint)-

If you can’t change circumstances, change your perspective.

You’re going to start making effective choices. Look at your life with an enduring aspect. For every unfortunate incident, look at it as something you can learn from. These unavoidable circumstances, unfortunate events, all that I’m talking about are nothing but challenges in your life. You have to overcome them by using them as your fundamental building blocks to reach your goal.

Every now and then, I keep on reading these articles on the internet- what do successful people do differently, mindsets that highly successful people have, how rich people think differently; some habits rich people do every day. Believe me when I say that, these articles actually help. It works, really. 💡 Go through such articles as often as you can (here’s one of mine for you right now). Have a focused mindset. Pin it in your mind that despite all the tensions, distractions going around, my foremost attention will be- my work. My duty. Learn to worship your work. And that’s my 2nd viewpoint – YOUR ATTITUDE.

Your attitude determines your direction.

Yes your attitude has a huge impact on your life’s direction. Your attitude dictates how you vision your life. If you adopt a positive attitude, you will see positive things happening around you. As John C. Maxwell quotes-

I may not be able to change the world I see around me but I can change the way I see the world within me.

Life may be smooth, maybe uneven; but your attitude towards life will decide how they influence you because you have the power to choose. You’ve the power to opt out of the easy road or just settle for something else. You can either learn a lesson from such event or be an easy target to be fooled. Hundreds of people gathered for the Women’s March on 20th Jan, 2018 in Washington, D.C., United States which had a specific focus on the social issues women face. Celebrities like Scarlett Johansson highlighted the #Metoo and #TimesUp movements while giving an influential speech- “My mind baffles: How could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power?” I really admire this lady; for she is one of the few celebrities who has been very determined to make her way.

You laugh and fake smile just to make people think you’re happy, but deep down your soul is injured. You are dealing with your own issues. But still, you make a choice and you choose to be happy. And that’s how you stand out from the crowd. Give yourself some reason to be happy about every day. Tomorrow morning when the sun shines through your window, choose to make it a happy day. I’m not telling you to wake up with a bright smile. I know nobody wants to leave the cozy comfy bed and get up. I’m suggesting you to think- that doesn’t require you to move a muscle. Wake up and believe in this- ‘I’m breathing. I’m going to have a good day.’ And this is my 3rd viewpoint

Note to self- I’m going to make you so proud.

You’ve to develop yourself into this cheerful, phenomenal powerhouse of energy who is fearless. You never know, how you might amaze yourself.  Only you know how much effort you’ve put in to survive in this city, keep up your job and build a life for yourself this far. Keep smiling and keep going. Take more care of your body and your savings. Keep your heart open to possibilities. Remember- You’re one-in-a-million.  It’s been only 4 weeks into the year, but the best things of your life are still waiting for you. You’ll get there.

A special message for tomorrow- Your heart knows it well how patriotic you are although you might not show it very often. So celebrate this Republic Day as a festival proudly, not just like a mere holiday. Understand the significance of the day in depth and commit to build India more beautiful and more glorious.

Keep smiling, keep believing, and keep that pretty chin up.
